Hello, Dear Church!
I hope this week’s newsletter finds you all well. I am enjoying the cooler weather and lighter traffic; Emerald Isle looks quite a bit different than it did back in July. I could get used to this.
We have some happenings this week. I am looking forward to the Hope is Alive “Nights in November” Dinner on Thursday night as well as the annual golf tournament on Saturday. We are also gearing up for Operation Christmas Child as well as our Wednesday Night Fellowship meal next week. I heard through the grapevine that it will be reminiscent of a thanksgiving meal, so you don’t want to miss it!
Check out the “meet a member” section below featuring Tara Daas, one of the very first members of EIBC. As I mentioned before, if you have a story to tell and are interested in a brief interview, please reach out to me. I will continue to reach out to you personally as well.
I hope to see you all in worship on Sunday as we examine Joshua’s story and his famous refrain, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Enjoy the rest of your week!
With love,
Pastor Zach
