Hello, Dear Church!

I hope you all are bundled up and staying warm. It’s crazy how quickly our North Carolina weather changes! 

It is a relatively calm week at the church. I am gearing up to go on a retreat through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship New Pastor Cohort. I will leave after church on Sunday to head to Stoneville, NC, and come back on the following Tuesday. Unfortunately I will miss our annual Trunk-or-Treat event, but I will make sure Emma has clear instructions to sweetly ask for an extra piece of candy to await my return.

We have our annual golf tournament coming up, so make sure you’ve gotten with Anthony if you’d like to play this year. Freddy might not be playing, but the pastor’s team could still take first place. I hear there may be some prizes for 2nd and runner-up though!
