  • Back Pack Friends requests individual mixed fruit cups for September and October's collections.
  • Support Our Troops will collect items for the upcoming winter season and Christmas: hot chocolate packets, Crystal Light single serving packets, small candies. Please see the full list of requested items on the office wing display and collections site.
  • Joyful Generations Lunch Bunch will be dining at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 2nd at Rucker Johns Restaurant, 8700 Emerald Dr, Emerald Isle, 28594.  Please make your reservations by texting Maxine Smith at (915)730-5612 or emailing maxineeibc@gmail.com no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 31st.  Be sure to give us your name and how many people will be in your party so we may confirm our reservations with the restaurant. We will stroll over to Rucker Johns after The Wednesday Wave.Planning on meeting every 1st Wednesday of the month for Lunch Bunch!

 

  • Joyful Generations invites those 55+ to a warm, welcoming table filled with delicious food, friendly faces, and a dash of entertainment. Join us for a monthly morning feast every second Saturday of the month designed to nourish your body and your spirit. Come eat, share stories, and discover the joy of connection at The Breakfast Club. Our first breakfast is potluck style and will be held on Saturday, September 12 at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.   • The Tuesday morning Women's Bible Study will begin "The Way to Wisdom: A Study of the Book of Proverbs" on September 15 at 8:30 AM. Please see Dorla Pake to sign up and purchase a workbook for $25 each. 

 

  • The Emerald Isle Community Center will host EIBC on September 16th and September 30th for a fun evening of fellowship through sports and games. Admission is free. Come out and join us!
