Pastoral Letter #9
Hello, Dear Church!
It’s hard to believe that July has already come and gone. The church has been so full of positive energy and activity, and I hope that August will bring much of the same!
Our potluck after worship last Sunday was incredible. Thank you to everyone who brought food and desserts, and thank you to everyone who stayed to join in a time of community and fellowship. I know that some of you have other obligations, so do not worry! We will have periodic events in the future so that we might gather together. We remember Rick and Edwina fondly and wish them both the best in their time of rest and later new adventures.
You all are probably wondering about the future of our Minister of Music, and I am very happy to announce that Della Abrams has taken on the role full-time! She has unanimous support from our Ministry Council, staff, and choir, and I know that she will do an excellent job. She has already been so dedicated, and we will formally present her before you all during worship on Sunday.
