Hello, Dear Church!

October is upon us and fall is in the air! 

I am still reflecting on our baptismal service last Sunday. What a beautiful day it was to carry out a sacred ordinance as Garrett and Riley (re)-affirmed their desire to follow Jesus as Lord. I hope those are the first of many baptisms to come at Emerald Isle Baptist Church. God is still calling us unto Himself, to be sure.

Remember that our Hope Missions Campaign ends today. If you have not already, please consider donating $5 to purchase a meal. Donations can be made here:  Donate! For those of you who have already donated, thank you for being part of the effort to care for our local community.

I would like to once again invite all of you to the Wednesday Wave Bible study at 11 a.m. We have had great discussion in small groups, and we are beginning a new theme:  The Afterlife. I hope you will join us. We will also be back at the Community Center tonight for pickleball and other sports and games. Come out even if you have never played before! We have extra equipment and would love to introduce you to a fun sport.
