Pastoral Letter #15

Hello, Dear Church!

It may still be “hot as the dickens” outside, as my grandmother used to say, but I feel Fall coming. School is back in swing, football is gearing up, and surf fishing is right around the corner. September is an active month here at EIBC. I hope to see you at our first fellowship meal of the year tonight. Remember our September campaign with Hope Missions as well as our very first night at the community center next Wednesday, September 16th, for some sports and games. The word has gotten out that the family was featured in the Emerald Isle Living Magazine. The goal of that was to highlight the church, not us, and we hope it will bring more into our fold. If you didn’t get a chance to see it yet, here it is!
