Hello, Dear Church!

Summer may be coming to an end, but we are still buzzing with energy! I invite you all to Emma Grace’s 3rd birthday party this Saturday in the fellowship hall. Please RSVP by texting Camila so we know how much ice cream to provide. My birthday is September 1st, and I will be 35 years old; I will be celebrating Disney style with Emma.

See other events listed in the newsletter. As we resume our Wednesday night fellowship meals, we want to remember those who may not be so privileged to eat good food in the company of others. To that end, we are partnering with Hope Missions for a September campaign to support their meals on wheels program. You may contribute to the campaign directly through our church website or contacting Dorla. Meals cost only $5 each, and you can help ~100 homebound seniors through your contribution.

We have also partnered with the Emerald Isle Community Center to enjoy some fun time together. We will play basketball, pickleball, do some light yoga, and enjoy board games on September 16th and 30th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. I hope some of you can join us for some fun activities and fellowship!

Keep an eye out for trunk-or-treat and golf tournament sign-ups as well as our new Anchor and Sail Grief Support group.

Finally, if you have not received a text message from EIBC or downloaded the new church app, please do so! 

I hope to see some of you at the Wednesday Wave Bible Study at 11 a.m. this Wednesday.
