Pastoral Letter #11

Hello, Dear Church!

I hope you all have had a fantastic week. Unfortunately for us, the girls have caught a bit of a cold. I would greatly appreciate your prayers for a quick recovery. Emma is turning 3 years old on August 31st, so we are busy planning her birthday party! She wants a Frozen, Moana, Spirit, Little Mermaid party with a pink motorcycle and a helicopter, so daddy will see what he can do. Of course everyone will be invited, and I will share more information about the date and location soon.

As you can see, we now have a weekly newsletter! We will be able to remind you about upcoming events as well as offer a weekly devotional and other featured content. We are also in the process of creating a text message list for quick updates. The easiest way for us to do this is to opt-in all members by default and if you do not wish to receive these communications, you can opt out. Please let me or Dorla know if you do not wish to be enrolled, and we will make sure you do not receive them.

I hope to see more of you at our weekly Bible study on Wednesdays at 11 in the fellowship hall. We have had some great discussion and enjoyed diving deeper into God’s word. I also look forward to our Men’s Prayer Breakfast this Saturday.
